We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
The 1911 Garrison is one of Springfield Armory’s most recent 1911 models. Springfield’s production line starts with the forged national match frame and slide. These are precision fit and then mated with a hammer-forged barrel for durability. This results in a 1911 with excellent accuracy and durability, enough that it can withstand the test of time and be handed down to succeeding generations. The Garrison features a Match Grade 5” barrel with fully supported ramp, traditional GI style recoil spring assembly and barrel bushing, and a set of low-profile combat 3-dot sights. Overall, the Garrison represents a traditional, yet cutting edge 1911 ready for duty in the 21st Century. The front strap remains smooth, making for a more comfortable grip. The Garrison sports a high quality hot salt bluing, with a subtle matte finish on the rounds and a high polish on the flats. The pistol is set up with a skeletonized trigger and hammer. Trigger pull is set at the factory at crisp 4.5-5.0 lbs. The beveled magwell eases insertion of magazines in situations requiring a fast reload. The enhanced grip safety features both a beavertail and a raised “memory bump” for positive engagement. The stainless steel magazine houses 9 rounds of 9mm Parabellum. The grips are a set of checkered thin-line wood grips with double diamonds and the Crossed Cannon logo, providing both an excellent interface with the pistol and a fine appearance. The pistol is used although it shows little wear. There are a few light scratches on the left side of the slide, but they are hard to see unless the pistol is held in the light at the correct angle. They are so light that none of them can be felt by fingertip. The movement of the slide in relation to the frame is exceptionally smooth and compares well with higher-end 1911s. The bore is a little dirty but has no rust or pitting. The Garrison comes with its box, manual, and two 9-round magazines.
