William R. "Bill " Hurt masterpiece Damascus Quillon Dagger with an 9-1/2" balde, iron guard with two spikes at each end and rounded spiral Gothic nut. Selected curly maple twisted handle with silver wire inlays, wood-lined basswood scabbard covered with African Kudu skin. Made in January 1997 this is knife # 121 out of 251 as Hurt only made such number of knives in his career. This is is the knife that was presented tp the Board at the ABS in order to obtain his Master Smith ranking, and such knife is part of the fives that were presented. Free shipping USPS with tracking # and signature required. Provenance letter included along with original invouice/receipt as thsi applies to all the listed Bill Hurt knives.
NOTE: Photos # 5 denotes the most elabrate scabbards Bill wever produced as these were for the 5 knives he submitted to the ABS Board of Directors in ordermto get his Master Smith ranking-Photo # 6 shows that particular model in the center of the photograph.
