US Model 1918 Trench Knife mfd by LF&C which stand for Landers Frary and Clark in 1918. Complete with original 1918 dated scabbard. Very Good Condition overall. No blade chips, good point, the handles still have some original finish. Scabbard hooks were removed...probably fitted inside a leather scabbard during WW2 as many were. Very Good Condition. Traces of original black on handle, ricasso, and scabbard. Blade is bright and has been lightly cleaned. No pits or chips in the blade and quite sharp. There are 1918's on the market with no scabbard selling for more than this and blades with the scabbards in no better condition selling for over 2000.
