Payment Types Accepted: Check, Money Order Description: Here we have a very nice Cased Kerr Revolver with all its accessories. This is an outstanding condition Kerr Revolver purchased and issued to Confederate forces during the Civil War. With the outbreak of the American Civil War, Confederate Arms Purchaser Caleb Huse contracted with the London Armory Company to produce all of the Kerr’s Patent revolvers that they could for delivery to the Confederacy. It is believed that all of the LAC’s output of Kerr revolvers from April of 1861 on (about 9,000 pistols) were acquired under this contract and shipped to Southern ports. This example is in extremely fine condition for this model retaining about 50% original blue scattered about its metal surfaces and blending with a deep, rich patina. Still showing some case colors on the hammer. The grips retain all their varnish and checkering is very nice condition. Serial number is 9571 (all numbers match) and is right in the middle of some known Kerr Revolvers listed on the Pratt Roll. A great gun at a great price. Please feel free to ask questions.
