Description:
Here we have an excellent condition commemorative Winchester Centennial 66, produced in 1966 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Winchester's first rifle. The rifle itself is based of a Model 94 which had brass features, where this one is ordained with gold-plated receiver, capped foregrip, and butt plate, with a heavy 26" octagonal barrel and saddle loops. This gorgeous rendition is a throw back to the gun that made Winchester famous in the old west. The rifle is in Excellent condition with minor handling marks, with some discoloration on the right side of the forearm, with a few minor impressions throughout stock and what looks to be some scratches on butt where the wood and butt plate meet. The action as well as the bore exhibit very minimal wear with the bore being bright with crisp rifling.
