Serial No. 126140, circa 1867-1868, .22 Short RF, 3 3/16""octagonal barrel. Barrel is a smooth grey patina with traces of original blue noted in protected areas. Silver frame is a nice patina with light surface handling wear noted. Bore is bright with minor frosting visible in the grooves, rifling is strong. Two piece rosewood grips have minimal scratches noted on varnish. Cylinder has ""1855"", ""1859"", ""1860"" patent dates, Action indexes correctly, tight lock up. Consignment.
