Serial No. 2688, circa 1861, .32RF, 5"" Octagonal barrel. Early 2 pin Civil War Era No. 2 Army, metal is a peppered grey patina with original blue visible inside the rib, protected areas under the barrel and behind the recoil shields. Barrel address and cylinder patent dates are visible and crisp. Bore is very good with light frosting in the grooves, rifling remains very strong. Two piece rosewood grips have minimal handling and usage wear visible. Action indexes and functions correctly. Consignment
