This Winchester was manufactured in the first year in this caliber 25-35! October 12,1895.This rifle is in as found condition having come from the estate of a hunter and guide in the Adirondacks Mountain area of upstate New York,This Winchester is in remarkable condition still retaining a large percentage of its original finish on the wood and metal including color case hardening on lever,the action works as it should and the bore is in Fine condition. Note:the fore arm does have some dents,but has original varnish so no attempt has been made to remove them.
