This is a super difficult to find early military barrel for Colt 1911 .45 US ARMY pistol. It has only an "H" proof mark on top of the chamber but no "P" proof. These were made for a short time in 19000-25000 serial range for US ARMY colts.
The barrel is in amazing shape with mint shiny bore with excellent rifling.
All original.
