CASED VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD A. FRANCOTTE HAMMERLESS EJECTOR DBL 12GA. SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. 12 gauge with 26-inch barrels. Chambered for 2¾-inch shells and choked modified and full. Finely scroll and bouquet engraved sideplates and frame. The mounts additionally are finely engraved. Excellent condition showing only modest hunting wear. The barrels retaining 85 to 90 percent blue finish showing wear where it has been carried. The frame and sideplates with much original casehardening. The fore-end and buttstock are excellent with crisp checkering and most of the original finish. 13¾-inch pull over the old solid pad. A fine high-quality gun with very good engraving. The barrels are signed "Von Lengerke & Detmold/US Agents New York" and the frame is signed "A. Francotte Maker and Patentee Liege Belgium". Has seen modest wear and use. The bores are very fine, however. From the estate of a local lady shooter and the original purchaser of the gun when it was new. With the original leather luggage case with green baize lining. A very crisp, original and untouched Francotte.
