Description:
This underlever hammer gun was made by famous London gunmaker Tomas Turner some time in the 1880s. This double rifle features Tomas Turner patented rifling and Charles Harvey patented handguard. Bores measure 50 cal so I assume its .500 Black Powder Express. Rifling in the chambers starts at 3 1/4" so it looks like its a 3" shell. Bores are shiny with strong rifling, no rust or pitting present. 2- stage hammers are working properly. Both hammers safeties function properly. The gun is all matching. This double rifle features unusually heavy buttstock wood that weighs almost as much as steel. Handguard has a repair but is solid overall. No license needed to buy except NJ and NYC residents.
