For sale is a Marlin model 336 chambered in 30-30. It features a side loading gate, front sight shroud and adjustable rear sight. Barrel is stamped (JM)
Condition- The bluing on feeding tube, barrel and receiver is in excellent condition with no signs of wear. The forward handguard does have a significant ding on side with load gate. The stock also has a blemish on the same side, with the butt stock cap showing some wear, similar to clear coat failure. This era of Marlin features the fish eye, stock insert at the bottom of the stock. Mechanically the load gate has plenty of spring tension, lever action is smooth and fire control group works as designed.
