This is a outstanding the hard to find Standard 243 version of the more common featherweight rifle model 70 , the gun is about new condition and 100% factory original with no alterations, the metal is about 99% and the wood finish would be also except for a few small spots of flaking varnish , it has not been bedded or taken apart, the matching Ser # is factory scribed on the bolt , I had this one in my collection of 70's for years, made in 1959 ,
