Fresh from the closest we have a rare pre-war K98k manufactured by Mauser-Oberndorf SN# 4461 n. Early S/42 code. Condition is overall good. The bore is good with strong rifling. Stock has numerous dings and press marks. The stock also has a un-repaired G.I. duffel cut. This rifle is a truly un-touched example of a World War Two bringback. You won't find them like this.
4461 n, was manufactured in October/November 1936. This rifle has many transitional acceptance stamps. Original dated 1937 sling has been on the rifle for over 85 years. The band spring is a numbered Erma manufactured.
