This is a very rarely encountered Stevens Savage Model 620-A trench shotgun, made as a part of US military procurement during WWII. Unlike its M520 counterpart, this was a hammerless model, very much like Winchester M12. They were produced in trench, riot and training versions with only ~12,000 total produced. So presumably only a few thousand of these riot 620-A's were made. This one is all original and in minty condition. It has retained nearly all of its finish with just some very light scratches and scuffs on the receiver. Excellent wood furniture, but there are two hairline cracks around the wrist where the stock meets the receiver. Excellent, shiny bore.
