Description:
This truly rare pair of revolvers is one of only 250 sets produced for Davidson Supply Company in October of 1982. The so called Colt "Pintos" were comprised of 250 Blue finished Detective Specials with a Nickel cylinder and 250 Nickel finished Detective Specials with a Blue cylinder. Both revolvers are in "New in Box" condition. Each is complete with the original serial number matching box with all original contents (plastic bag, hang tag, Instruction Manual, Colt Authorized Repair Station List, "The Colt Companion", NRA application card) and Colt Archive Letter confirming their original configuration. If you're wondering about the rubber Pachmayr grips with the Colt medallion, yes they are factory correct and original to the Pinto Detective Specials.This is a 100% complete collector package that cannot be improved upon at any price. You may see an individual Pinto offered for sale from time to time, but they almost NEVER come up for sale as a complete set.
