Description:
26 inch round barrel chambered in 38-56 WCF caliber. Special order features include a half mag and shotgun butt with steel butt plate. Original German silver front sight with a replacement sporting rear. Good crisp action. Bore would benefit from a good cleaning. Most of an old re-blue remains on the barrel. Receiver is a darker brown/plum color turning gray at the carry points. Hammer and lever have traces of case color in areas. Wood has been freshened and is a little shy around the upper tang. Antique Winchester made in 1895.
