Painted on front with his name and 26thDivision emblem with 101 Bn designation. Painted on right side with Victory Medal and "101st MG Bn. 26th Div" "Commander- Great War" with leaf badge above. Painted on left side with Mexican Border Service Medal with bar above "Mexican BorderTroop-B 5th C.N.G.". Some paint loss to underside of helmet. Interior lining intact. Captain John A. Johnson, C.O. of H Company of the 54th Pioneer Infantry. Painted on front "The Great War Meuse-Argonne, 54 P, 54th Pioneer Infantry" with an infantry badge. Painted on right side with a tricolor flag with "C.O. H Company" and "Captain John A. Johnson" and left side with the emblem of the 3rd Army and "Mexican Border Service 24rd Ret'g N.G.N.Y.- Sgt. Co.
