Description: Serial #NSN, 12 Gauge BP Percussion, 30 inch "Fine London Twist" barrels with fine, dark frosted bores showing very shallow pitting near the muzzle choked about modified on each side. This is an antique W. & C. Scott double hammer, side-by-side shotgun. This very high quality English shotgun is in very fine overall condition with the barrels toning from gray to brown with very attractive twist pattern showing having some minor surface scratches and slight roughness at the muzzle. The side plates are marked W. & C. Scott & Son with beautiful light scroll engraving as do the hammers, trigger guard and other metal parts. The walnut stock is solid with numerous old contusions and scratches with the checkering worn mostly smooth. Mechanically the gun functions properly with the hammers holding at half and full cock.
