I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique Schmidt & Rubin Model 1889 Straight-pull bolt action battle rifle. Antique no FFL required. It’s chambered in 7.5x53.5 Swiss. Served from 1889 to 1899 in the Swiss Army, with all the military approval markings. Found in excellent condition, the original blue finish rates 90-95%, with a 31" barrel with excellent bore with sharp rifling. Serial numbers are all matching. The model 1889 was the first in the series of Schmidt-Rubin rifles that served Switzerland from 1889 to 1958. It was issued to an army unit visible on the top of the stock near the butt, all is accurately photographed. The action is firm, smooth and in good working condition. A previous owner glued (epoxy) an aluminium scope rail, shouldn't be too difficult to remove. Those are fun to shoot and very accurate with its long barrel. All my guns are not only justly priced but also set very low.
