Standard configuration P226, with nitron finished slide and early design front night sight and standard rear sight, made for the Thurgau Police. Left side slide is marked “SIG SAUER" while the bold Thurgau Canton emblem followed by "POLIZEI" is on left side of frame. Right side of slide marked with model and serial number. Matching barrel (left side of chamber) is marked with the caliber. The full serial number repeated for the third time, on the right side of the frame. Fitted with SIG Sauer checkered grips, otherwise unmarked. Magazine made by SIG Sauer, with zippered spine marked with three indicator holes numbered “5, 10, 15 ”, floorplate marked "P226". Complete with crisp original 51 page instruction booklet, factory matching test target, and original factory matching shipping box. Synopsis: SIG Sauer P226, Swiss, Thurgau Police, Matching Test Target and Box. Condition: Excellent original condition with minor sharp edge wear and a few superficial scuffs as carefully photographed. Comparable condition grips, magazine showing insertional wear.
