Description:
Large fitted case for two Colt Armies, two Colt Navies, or two Dragoons. It is one of the largest case I have ever seen for a pair of pistols. It will mount and display two Armies, two Navies, or two Colt Dragoons. Or an Army on one side and a Navy on the other. It has double covered boxes for round balls, and two compartments for four cap tins in each. There is a compartment for a sizable powder flask, and compartments for molds or other items. This 20th century case is made entirely of solid walnut, with a beveled top edge all the way around. It is heavy and substantial. There is a good quality lock with the proper key, which works well. Two short narrow strips of green felt can be seen where compartments appear to have been moved slightly in the past, and compartments could be easily removed and repositioned should you wish to change the color of the felt or alter the configuration. Measures 21” side to side by 12” front to back, and 4” deep. A most impressive piece in overall excellent condition, and exceptionally hard to find in this size. Could be refigured for a variety of guns or other collectibles, but perfect for Army, Navy, or even SAA revolvers. Please email any questions. $175. Shipping $40. Thank you. Revolvers not included!
