Description:
This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of .40-72 smokeless ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 300 grain patched soft point bullets. The two piece, round corner box has the circa 1899 top and side labels with a side caution label dated "7-6". The box is solid with rub and edge wear in addition to some mild flaking of the primary and side labels and overall age soiling. The cartridges are in excellent condition with very slight age darkening.
