Description:
Serial #60911, .22 S, L, LR, 24 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is a beautifully restored Winchester Model 61 Take Down pump action rifle manufactured in 1941. In excellent condition the barrel retains perhaps 93-95% of a high polish reblue with a slight purple hue having some scattered light scratches and use marks with the receiver about 95-98% restored blue. The walnut stock and forearm are excellent as refinished. It is equipped with a an adjustable rear sight which has a white paint applied locking in the elevation and giving a nice eye relief. An additional rear sight is provided to convert it back to adjustable. The action functions properly with a tight lock up. FFL or C&R;/p>
