Description:
For your consideration, an International Harvester M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield. Dubbed by General Patton as "the greatest battle implement ever devised," the M1 Garand faithfully saw the US through the Second World War and Korea and served many other forces abroad beyond. The bolt, op rod, gas plug, trigger group, and hammer are likewise of IH manufacture while the barrel is an LMR dated '54. The receiver dates to May of 1956. Stock markings consist of the (P) proof mark and a boxed eagle Defense Acceptance Stamp cartouche. .30-06 Springfield
