I'm selling my collection. I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique Scarce Frank Wesson First Type single shot rifle. Antique no FFL required. It’s chambered for .32 rimfire either short or long. It was manufactured pre-1898, manufactured from 1859-1864, total quantity approximatly of 2,000.The First Type was not fitted with extractor. The slotted link to limit travel of breech when opened on the right side is missing ( not really important as the travel is limited by itself). . Breech of barrel relieved (recessed) at each side allowing for removal of the fired case by fingers (often necessitating the use of a cleaning rod). 24" Octagonal barrel with moderatly pitted bore with visible good rifling. Those Frank Wesson First Type Two trigger it's very rare & collectible. Ammunitions showed on one the picture are not for sale. I described it to the best of my knowledge.
