Serial No. 3208728, made October 1944, .30-06, 24"" 8-44 dated barrel. Parkerized finish is very good, bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted. Op-rod has been modified, all parts are SA marked. Stock has ""S.A./GAW"" cartouche with ""crossed cannons"" next to it. Inside the stock is a Danish Kampviser label. Gorgeous Lock Bar sights remain on the rifle. Action is smooth and function correctly. Nice late war M1 Garand!
