Description:
Serial #NSN, .22 S, L, LR, 25 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Remington bolt action Model 512 Sportsmaster rifle manufactured in 1949 featuring a a 15 shot tube magazine. In excellent condition the barrel and receiver retain about 96-98% original blue finish with thinning around the muzzle and trigger guard, scattered freckling and some other very minor use marks. The bolt shows much of the original vibrant case colors and has the red cocking indicator. The walnut stock rates near excellent with some scattered mild handling and use marks, mild contusions and very tiny chips at the bottom of the wrist. It has the original Remington butt plate which is fully intact. A very nice example of this classic rifle. FFL or C&R
