M1 Garand near duplicate by Kingston Armory in .22LR.
The Kingson Armory .22LR M1 Garand is visually a near duplicate of it's.30 caliber brother. It is stocked in a very nice piece of Genuine American Walnut, and the front and rear sights, buttplate, sling, and stacking swivels are identical to issue parts, although they are newly manufactured. Under a hinged cover in the butt plate are two cavities for storing cleaning and lube accessories.
The gas cylinder looks original but is not functional. The 10/22 like action is crafted from 4140 steel with a 10 round rotary magazine. The rifle weighs 9.75 pounds. The barrel is 23 inches long and the rifles over all length is 41.5 inches. There is no bayonet lug. The front sight is a square post between two flared protective ears. Having a 23" barrel and adjustable rear sight the accuracy is spot on. This rifle will feed on whatever diet of .22LR ammo you want to feed it.
I bought this rifle new and have shot it only twice and the functionality was flawless. The stock and metal have no blemishes or signs of use.
If you want a fun rifle with the WWII look and feel but not the expense of .30-06 ammunition you need this rifle. It was definitely a head turner the two times I took it to the range !
