An Early & Scarce U.S. Civil War Military Issued Percussion Savage Revolving Fire Arms Co. Navy Revolver In Fine Untouched Condition. Early Serial # 1,495, all matching numbers. Made in 1861-1862. All original and complete. The revolver has fine plus metal, markings, and edges. The gun is fully U.S. Sub Inspected. The barrel and cylinder both have a nice mix of original blue and natural plum patina throughout them. The loading lever and hammer retain lots of their original case colors with some areas also fading to a plum color. All the screws on the gun are fine with original color. The original grips are excellent throughout and have clear U.S. Inspectors Cartouches on both sides. The grips are also numbered to the gun. The revolver has an excellent action and bore in it. This Is A Very Fine Example Of An Early All Original U.S. Civil War Military Issued Percussion Savage Revolving Fire Arms Co.
