Description:
Colt Model 1878 shotgun. Antique, can be shipped directly as local law allows. Barrels are 31 1/4". Chambers are 3". Mirror bores with scattered smooth (not deep) pitting. Barrels would rate "6" or "7" on a 10 point scale. Original barrel brown on exterior of barrels. Tight on face / no loose ribs / no cracks to wood. Forend is missing ebony inlayed tip. Examined locks and found them in excellent condition with all original parts. Hammers are rebounding. Checkering has worn smooth. LOP is 14 3/8" with original worn Colt buttplate. As an antique this can be shipped directly as local law allows. Shipping is $75.
