W. du Bray. Captain du Bray was significant figure in Parker lore. Not only was he a representative of Parker, he was also a competitive shooter and was affiliated with Custer and the indian wars. Although it is not clear who was the original owner of the gun in 1906, the gun was ordered by du Bray and was in his personal documented inventory in 1926. This provenance will be provided to the buyer. The combination of features is what make this gun unique apart from its association with du Bray. According to the Parker Story, a little over 200 grade 3 guns were made with 30" titantic steel barrels and ejectors. If you add a straight grip and 2 7/8" factory chambers, this gun is a bit different than your typical grade 3 hammerless Parker. Shotgun is in very nice condition with no mechanical isssues and great bores. Letter and provenance come with this nice Parker.
