Remington 700 Custom rifle chambered in 6.5-284 Norma. The Remington 700 has been made for over 50 years and was the number one selling bolt-action of all time. The strength of its 3-rings-of-steel receiver paired with a hammer-forged barrel, combines to create the most popular bolt-action rifle in history. This is a heavy barrel bench-rest rifle with a polymer stock and a rubber recoil pad. It has a Pentax 8.5-32 x 50mm Scope. The 6.5-284 Norma is based on the .284 Winchester cartridge necked down to 6.5 mm. It is used primarily in benchrest competitions.
