Isaac Hollis & Sons, Bermingham 20 ga Hammer Gun
This is a very nicely made English 20 ga hammer gun in very good condition. The barrels retain excellent original finish and very good bores with only the slightest imperfections. It is a front action sidelock with Purdy double under bolts and Greener type cross-bolt 3rd fastener. The action is a clean patina without any rust or corrosion. The straight English style stock has been freshened-up and checkering pointed up. There is a silver escutcheon in stock belly and the butt has steel heel and toe plates. It weighs 6 lbs. 2 5/8” chambers, Nitro Proofed between 1904 - 1925 for 7/8 oz shot, choked in both barrels 0.003 right & 0.020”. LOP is 14 ½”, DC – 1 ½”, and DH -2 ½”. All-in-all, a very nice little English small bore hammer gun.
