The original finish on this pistol was DuLite. The jury is finally in and the DuLite finish it presently has is refinished. The price proposed reflects this situation.
This pistol has correct parts including:
Checkered safety.
Checkered slide stop.
Checkered hammer with Du-Lite finish.
“L” marked Magazine
Checkered mainspring housing.
Keys grips with re-enforcing rings.
An excellent Hi Standard (HS) marked barrel
The slide has been questioned as being a type III that would not be appropriate for this serial number.
The Du-Lite finish on this pistol would rate about 98% with little or no wear on the high spots and the front grip strap. The barrel shroud finish is in the 60 to 70% range. The bore is as new. From my FFL to yours.
