S&W Model 27-2 fitted with a 6 inch pinned barrel, red ramp front sight, white out-line adjustable rear sight, smooth cocobolo S&W target grips with S&W medallions, top of barrel, top of frame, and top of rear sight are checkered (standard on the Model 27), is blue finished, and chambered in .357 Magnum. What sets this gun above the rest is the attractive factory Class "A" engraving. Also unique to this gun, the barrel and cylinder are stamped with the last four numbers of the serial number, not usually done with Smith's of this vintage. This 1980 vintage Model 27 is unfired and retains 99% orignal finish, with a slight drag line on the cylinder and handling marks/possibly light pitting on the cylinder and left side of the barrel below the front sight. The grips (which are not serial numbered) fit very well and are in near excellent condition, retaining most of their original finishes, with some pressure dents and handling marks. The bore looks as new and the action functions the same. Comes with a S&W mahogany presentation case (with assorted handling marks/dings & scratches, along with the typical lining issues), factory provided screwdriver, bore mop, bore brush and screwdriver, some paper-work, sorry, no instructions manual.
