.55 caliber 35"" octagon to round barrel percussion altered trade gun by Whately, overall good condition the metal is a brown/grey patina with circle fox and London on the barrels surface. Wood is good with handling and usage wear noted. Action function correctly but spring is becoming weak. This gun is one of the 1580 guns contract to supply Britain's Native allies for the War of 1812.
