The rifle is in high condition throughout, shows superficial oil stains with no damage to the wood. No metal damage or wear whatsoever. Bayonet is like new. The action is smooth and was packed with grease.
This rifle’s appearance can easily be brought to new, unused condition with very little effort.
Rifle features:
Short barrel, only 22.6 inches.
Bolt handle moved at a downward, forward angled positioned, closer to the firing hand assisting in faster and smoother cycling.
Rotating bolt locks into the receiver walls.
Rear peep diopter marked from 100 to1,200 meters.
Two-piece stock attached to a slab-sided, square-shaped, machined steel receiver which contains the internal magazine. The magazine is loaded utilizing either charging clips or a single round at a time. The clip guides are machined into the receiver’s bridge.
A stacking hook on the right side of the barrel.
No safety, wartime design. With a round in the chamber, the bolt is raised slightly to prevent any discharge.
A plunger release, 17-inch spike bayonet stored in a tube beneath the barrel.

Modern firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in your area. A C&R license is acceptable for C&R firearms only (guns determined to be C&R eligible by ATF and/or guns known to be at least 50 years old).
New York Residents: Handguns cannot be shipped directly to a C&R holder in the State of New York and must be transferred through your local dealer.
Antique firearms require the buyer to supply proof of age. Some areas may require an FFL transfer for antique & black powder firearms (New Jersey, NYC, etc.)
