I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique French Ordnance Revolver Model 1892. FFL/C&R is required. It’s chambered in 8mmx27 (Improperly called Lebel). It was manufactured in St Etienne Arsenal Gov. Factory, in good shape & working condition, good timing with 6 clean chambers, the 4.1/2" barrel with good shinny bore with good sharp rifling. The original factory blue finish rates 65%, with tinny spots of pin-pricked surface rust, markings on the barrel are crisp, all others are well defined, the checkered wooden grips are excellent, all visible on the pictures.The lanyard ring was not purposely removed as it was fashionable after WWI for officer as side arm. This ordnance revolver model 1892 served reliably & successfuly for over 80 years in the french Army, Foreign Légion & Navy, those handguns were so well built and are amazingly accurate. It was still in service in the mid 1950s & 60s in Indochina & the Algerian conflict. The ammunitions showed on one of the pictures are not for sale. I described it to the best of my knowledge.
