ON HOLD FOR GEORGE. Price is for rifle only. No scope. Here is a gorgeous Winchester Model 70 chambered in 375 H&H Magnum. It is being sold separately from the pictured Zeiss DIAVARI X 2.5x10x48 scope. The metal is all original with 98% finish remaining. All action screws are registered. Barrel length is 25 inches. The bolt has been jeweled beautifully in the period pattern. The stock has been replaced with a beautiful piece of walnut that holds true to the Model 70 design with a few improvements such as a blued steel grip cap, checkered wrist, and a pancake style cheekpiece reminiscient of the Super Grades when this rifle was produced. Stock is finished in a nice low luster oil finish with finely cut checkering. An NECG recoil pad brings the LOP to 13.5 inches. I have shot this rifle at 100 yards with a three shot grouping just under one inch using 300g Federal Premium ammunition. This would make a great African rifle with versatility for both short and distant shots. Will ship in a hard case. No sales outside the US.
