Description:
Ruger #1-A in .30-40 Krag. This gun is part of a limited run of 100 .30-40 Krags produced for Cabela's with upgraded Circassian walnut stock and high luster polish on metal. Overall length is a short 38 1/2" with a weight of 7lbs. 9oz. as pictured. There are no Cabela's logos on rifle. Original owner personal rifle.
Rifle is set up with Leupold VX-3i 1.5-5x-20 duplex reticle scope equipped with Leupold magnetic lens covers in Leupold low rings. For added versatility a New England Custom Guns (NECG) receiver aperture sight with two apertures and properly regulated white line front sight from XS sights is included. The rear flip up sight is removed from quarter rib and the dovetail blanked to allow low mounting of scope but original rear sight is included. Non slip shoulder sling provided. Surprisingly good trigger pull. Especially nice rifle for those that enjoy shooting cast bullets. Factory box and instruction manual. Hornady dies, sealed box of 170gr. Speer Hot-Cor SPFN component bullets along with 100 ct. bag of new unprimed R-P component brass.
Overall a beautiful, rare, well set up, great handling rifle.
