Description: General Specs: Colt, Year 1979, .357MAG, 44oz., 6" Barrel Serial Number: V87463 The Colt Python is quite possibly the finest revolver ever made. They have become an investment grade gun with the prices continuing to climb as they are never going to come back into production and be the same hand fit and tuned "Rolls Royce" level of gun that they once were. As you examine this revolver keep in mind that it comes with the factory original box and manual. We even have the original invoice from purchase by the one owner in 1980. This gun, snV87463 made in 1979, sports a 6" barrel and comes complete with the original box, papers, and invoice. VFI purchased this Python from the family of the one and only owner, and it has barely been fired, with a very slight, almost imperceptible drag line. The bore, screws, grips are all in NEW CONDITION, with no marks or dings. The gun has never been in a holster. It has been shot but has been well cared for and retains 100% of its brilliant Colt factory nickel finish, with the original walnut grips and Colt medallion. The box is a bit tattered but is all there, and it has the proper label with serial number and specifics of this gun. What a delightful gun to shoot targets using the soft shooting .38 Special, then have at your bedside loaded with .357 Magnums for protection. That is one nice thing about having a Python that has been fired at least once...you can enjoy its use as it appreciates in value. Just keep it clean and well cared for. Don't miss this bargain on a near new Python! Thanks for looking.
