Description:
This Remington M1903A3 is a five-round magazine-fed, bolt-action service rifle. It features an aperture rear sight and blade type front sight. The barrel date is 10 43. As measured with a CMP gauge, this rifle indicates a muzzle wear of 0.5 and a throat wear of 1.75.
Field repair toe splice is noted as seen in pictures. This repair is a service repair and is very solid, not anything completed recently.
Bolt appears to be completely Remington parts. All parkerizing finish appears to be even throughout the bolt, receiver, barrel, and supporting metal. Bore is extremely clean and shiny 2-groove barrel.
