Colt government contract Cavalry Model Single Action Army revolver chambered in .45 Colt. Non-"US" marked. Comes with a Colt factory letter that indicates the revolver was delivered to the U.S. government inspector on 14 August 1878. Also includes a Kopec letter that suggests the missing "US" marking was likely due to it being issued to a state militia and the nickel plating was from post-government use. .45 Colt
