Description:
This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of .40-70 black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 330 grain lead bullets. The two piece box intact showing older tape repairs to the bottom and sides. The top remains solid with wood insert and has an excellent top and side label with a very nice cartridge cut showing the Model 1886 call out having some light flaking. The cartridges are in excellent condition. A very good looking Winchester box in a seldom-seen caliber.
