Description:
Serial #1032WC and 1032WC, .44-40, 7 1/2" barrel with a fine, bright bore having traces of mild freckling within the grooves (Colt), and 20" barrel with an excellent, bright bore (Winchester). This is set 1,032 of 4,440, issued in 1984, and features a Samuel Colt signature Peacemaker matched to an Oliver Winchester signature Model 1894 Carbine. Both guns are in excellent, practically unused condition, although there is a faint, barely discernible turn-ring on the cylinder of the revolver. The set is housed in the original wooden presentation case with brass plaque; maroon velvet-lined, French-fit interior; two gilt-finished desk medallions; and the original Colt manual. This is a splendid commemorative set, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
