This is an example of the .22 rimfire cartridge Vest Pocket. Invented by William H. Elliot, only about 17,000 of these guns were made in total over the 23 years production run. This single shot pistol is very simple in mechanics. Place the hammer in the most rearward position and load a cartridge. The hammer also acts as the loading gate and breach block. This neat little pistol with walnut grips would have been a very handy pistol to have stuck down in one’s vest pocket while paddle-wheeling down the Mississippi River when the poker game went awry! The overall condition is good. Strong action. The bore has dimmed but remains in good shape. Sild grips with light handling wear. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 3-1/4 inches. Caliber: .22 Rimfire Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. Delivered directly to your door by express mail! Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1200 #233253 SOLD Antique: Yes |
