Description:
Springfield Armory M1D (Sniper model), 30-06, S/N 1692538, with original M84 scope S/N 22211, scope mount, a leather sling and leather cheek piece. The receiver dates to June 1943 and still retains the WWII-era lock bar type rear sight. At some point most of the metal parts had been blued and the bolt polished. M1D barrel is dated 8-52, throat erosion gauges 3.5+, muzzle guages 2.5, and barrel does not have a flash hider. The stock appears to be in very good condition inside and out, and the internal parts are of mixed manufacturer. Buyer pays actual shipping cost. Payment by Postal Money Order or Certfied check only.
