This Model 1000 features a 28\" barrel with a 2 3/4\" chamber and full choke. he reason the Model 1000 performs when other autoloaders fail is the patented internal gas metering system that compensates for pressure differences in ammunition to control bolt velocity and minimize stress on the receiver and action.
