I'm selling my collection. An Antique Smith & Wesson .38 Second Model & 2nd Issue, made in 1880-1884 in a total 115,000, it qualifies as an Antique pre-Dec 31. 1898, no need FFL for transfer, chambered in.38 S&W centerfire caliber, 5 shot fluted cylinder with clean chamber. 3.1/4" round ribbed barrel with a very good shinning bore with few light grainy spots barely visible with sharp rifling. The metal surface of this early .38 DA retain 75-80% of its original nickel. The trigger guard has lost most of its blue finish, the trigger & hammer retain a fair amount of case-hardened color. Original black hard rubber grip grips remain in very fine condition. Serial number under the latch: 19923. I haven't shot it, the action and the cylinder timing function very well. It was well kept and preserved. Very collectible & good example these rare 2nd Model revolvers. The old ammunitions showed on one the picture are not sor sale.
